This is the TV so many people are chipping in for!Hi everyone,
I'm so excited to share this update with you! A few posts back I had mentioned that we really wanted to bring some entertainment to the kids (mostly teens) of NLL/HFC. They are not able to safely play outside a lot and do not have many entertainment items. We have purchased them a Playstation 2 and some games and many people have helped us make a DVD library collection for them. One thing we had really hoped to be able to get was another TV for them. This morning I receive more emails for very generous donations towards that TV and it brought us to the amount we needed to purchase a 15" flat screen. Praise God!!! They are going to be over the moon excited! The TV is $215 and we are at $220! We could get them the same TV with a DVD player built into it for only $250. So if anyone would still like to help with this we only need $30 more to make it happen! If not we will be so excited and grateful to be able to bring them the TV! We plan to take pictures and video of them receiving it and will share it on here when we get back from Haiti.
