More Firsts

FIRST SNOW:
On the way from Reno we pulled over to let the kids hit the snow for a little bit. Stephanie, Jude, Kyle, and Johnny really enjoyed it. Lovenie and Luke were not loving the cold. Afterwards we took them to the Lodge to drink hot cocoa and watch the skiers. Lovenie was so traumatized by her moments in the cold snow that she pointed out the window to the snow and yelled to me "Mwen pa vle, Mwen pa vle!!!" (I don't want, I don't want). I thought it was pretty funny.






FIRST TIME BOWLING:




Itty Bitty Update: So much happening around here getting ready for another big move. There is so much cram packed in our schedule between now and then. Jude and Lovenie continue to just blend right into our family and have become a real joy. Things have taken a bit of a downhill turn with Stephanie and things I'm afraid are not going to be real fun for her for a little while. She has just started her second week of public school and we are so pleased with our decision to send her. We look forward to the day that we can move past some of the problems we are having and enjoy a really great relationship with her. Johnny, Kyle, and Luke are all doing really good. Kyle and Jude have become good friends over the last couple of months. It's very sweet. Johnny and Luke also seem to have become closer to each other then before so that's pretty beautiful too. We are battling the flu around here. Most of the kids got it but thanks to their flu shots did not get very sick. Ms. I'm too freaked out by needles (me) did not get the flu shot and... groan. So we can add first flu to the list of firsts too!
